Cambridge exams are recognized throughout the world. CISL offers the Cambridge FCE and CAE in San Diego and San Francisco. You can take the official exam at the end of your San Diego or San Francisco preparation
course when you are very well prepared to achieve your best result. Our
2012 Cambridge Courses are offered in 8, 9, and 11 week sessions.
FCE and CAE Intensive Course Option
The FCE and CAE Intensive Courses aim to supplement the FCE and CAE Standard Courses by offering highly structured focused practice. Every day, Monday through Thursday will include utilizing the necessary skills for taking each of the five papers of the exam with extra emphasis on Reading and Use of English.
For example, Monday would focus on improving reading marks through the use of extra timed readings and vocabulary building exercises. Tuesday would focus on building word families, collocations, preposition combos and rewriting sentence structures. Although, Wednesday would focus mainly on writing standards, Use of English would also be incorporated into the practice for practical applications. Thursday would focus on improving listening skills and strategies for both speaking and listening.
Throughout the intensive course, past exam papers will be given and used to help prepare students for the actual exam. These intensive courses will also allow the instructor to give specific individualized help according to a student’s specific problem areas.
Upgrading to the FCE and CAE Intensive Course from the FCE and CAE Standard Course will help to ensure greater overall success on exam day!

2012 Cambridge Preparation Dates and Prices
Cambridge Exam testing fees are $350 for San Diego and $400 for San Francisco. These are in addition to the cost of the Cambridge Exam course tuition.
