Premier Client Testimonials

I am a CPA and I studied in the Premier English program at CISL San Francisco for 2 weeks. I wanted to improve my speaking and writing business emails. I read financial statements and emails in English at work. In the future, my company has a global extension and we have to speak and communicate in English. Each class is good for me. In the morning Quatorial group class, I can hear people from other countries speak and not only natives. It is difficult to hear other countries, non-native speakers, but it is a reality situation. I can know different cultures.

In my Tutorial class, the teachers coordinate lessons for me. We focus on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, email communication, business phone calls and anything I want. Spoken Performance is fun. We practice pronunciation and intonation. Our teacher focused on my Japanese pronunciation because many Japanese people can not pronounce the “R” or “L” sound."

CyrielI studied English in the Premier English Program at Converse International School of Languages for 6 weeks. I received my Law degree in France and am currently a Legal Counsel Advisor. The morning Quatorial group classes were my favorite because we learned a lot about grammar, idioms and negotiating.  We began our days with News Review and this is when I learned a lot about American politics.  I also enjoyed our various expressions during conversation and the oral presentations. The organization of the class was nice, and there was no time to be bored!

The school itself is very tidy, and I liked using the Multimedia Lounge. Actually, the convenient location of the school is most important. If you leave the school, you have a safe neighborhood, friendly people, and many types of restaurants with great international food. I really enjoyed my time studying at CISL San Francisco."

Daniel, SwitzerlandI am a Professional Development Trainer and I decided to study in the Premier English program at CISL San Francisco for two weeks. I wanted to study in the United States for personal development. In the morning Quatorial class we had hard work, while in our “Quatorial Project” class we worked together in teams to create a weekly presentation. During the afternoons, we were able to have the funny and a little more relaxed class “Spoken Performance”. It is good to work hard on grammar, but I also liked this class because we focused on public speaking toward the end of the day. My vocabulary improved the most during my time here.

Converse International School of Languages is a small school, so it doesn’t take much time to meet other students. Everyone is friendly, and there is a good culture and groove to the school community

IsaoI studied in the Premier Program for 9 weeks. I enjoyed the entire day. The Quatorial group lessons were very diverse and we learned about different cultures and ways of thinking. My speaking improved the most. It was difficult before, but now I have more confidence to speak English. I am looking forward to my Business Extension Course for Non-Native Speakers at a very prestigious American University."

takeshiAt CISL San Francisco it was easy for me to communicate with students and teachers. Listening was my major problem, so in my private afternoon lessons I focused on ‘Pronunciation and Listening’ and ‘Business Vocabulary’. The activities were fantastic and a good chance to speak English. I don’t think my listening is good, but it has definitely improved. Next summer I will transfer my job location and work in the United States!”

asukaMy writing and pronunciation improved the most while studying in the Premier English Program. There were a lot of students from all over and it was really exciting. San Francisco is a beautiful city. I really enjoyed my 2 private lessons in the afternoon where I was able to focus on my weak points. One class was ‘Speaking and Pronunciation’ and the other was ‘Writing’.”
